Hiking
There isn't a better way to enjoy the alpine air and take in one-of-a-kind views than immersing yourself in the Colorado Mountains.

We've created a separate page with all of our favorite hikes around the Valley (including those off the beaten path)! These hikes range from beginner to advanced so there is something for everyone.
Horseback Riding
If you're not the biggest hiker but you're looking to be in nature, consider exploring the mountains by horse!

Bearcat Stables, located in Edwards, offers 1-2 hour trail rides for riders of all ages. You can explore the aspen groves, wildflower meadows and may even spot some wildlife!
Vail Farmer's Market
Vail's Farmers Market and Art Show is a wonderful way to wrap up your weekend in the valley.
You may enjoy a variety of food & beverages and shop for Colorado-made goodies. From artesian products, boutique accessories, and an assortment of artwork there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Vail Resort Activities
Vail Resort has several fun activities for all ages at their mountain top adventure center. You can also enjoy BBQ at Talon's Grill, Ice Cream at Simba's Cafe, or an afternoon cocktail at Bistro 14. We've noted our favorite activities below. ​

Moutain Coaster
Fly 4,300 ft through Vail Mountain's forest on a raised alpine coaster!
